Estimates, licensing, and what is binding.

Estimates are non-binding until a written contract is signed. Our license, insurance, and warranty terms are specified per project. Payment terms are in the contract for each project.

A.

Estimates and Proposals

Any estimate, quote, ballpark figure, or pricing range provided through the Site, by phone, by email, or during an on-site visit is preliminary and non-binding until a written contract is executed by both parties. Estimates reflect our best assessment based on information available at the time and may be adjusted after additional inspection, scope changes, or discovery of conditions not visible during initial assessment. On-site assessments are typically provided at no charge for properties within our service area. Some specialized assessments such as moisture mapping, infrared imaging, or third-party testing may carry a fee that we will disclose in advance.

Estimates
Non-binding
B.

Formation of a Binding Agreement

A binding agreement for any work is formed only when a written contract has been signed by both parties, the scope of work, pricing, schedule, and payment terms are explicitly stated, any required deposits have been received, and required permits, if any, have been obtained or scheduled. Verbal agreements, email exchanges, text messages, and informal handshakes do not by themselves form a binding contract for contractor services. New York licensed contractor work requires written contract per Home Improvement Contractor regulations.

Binding
Written contract only

Warranties

Warranties applicable to any specific project are stated in the written contract for that project. Manufacturer warranties on materials, fixtures, and equipment are provided by the respective manufacturers and are subject to their terms. Anajur does not warrant outcomes that depend on factors outside our control, including pre-existing structural conditions, hidden defects in existing construction, future water intrusion from unrelated sources, owner-supplied materials, or modifications made by parties other than Anajur after project completion.

E.

Payment Terms and Permits

Payment terms (deposit amount, milestone payments, and final payment) are stated in the written contract for each project. We accept payment by check, ACH transfer, or other methods agreed to in writing. Credit card payments, if accepted, may carry a processing fee. Insurance-claim work follows the payment structure established between the insured, the insurance carrier, and Anajur as written into the contract and approved scope of work. Required permits are pulled by Anajur as necessary for the scope of work. Permit fees, expedite fees, and inspection costs are typically passed through to the owner at cost and included in the project contract. We perform work in accordance with the applicable New York City Building Code, NYC Plumbing Code, NYC Electrical Code, and other governing codes in effect at the time of the work.
